The location of the lodge was fantastic, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions like the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The spacious rooms and clean bedding made us feel instantly at home. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome pack with essentials like bread, milk, and tea bags - a nice touch!
There were a few aspects that let our stay down. The fridge was too small to accommodate all of us, and the broken door shelf further limited the usable space.

highwood lodge was a delightful stay, even better than our previous visit. the location was serene, with beautiful woods and walks nearby. the lodge itself was clean and spacious, and the hot tub was a wonderful bonus. the welcome pack and ample parking were nice touches as well.
